Description
PLEASE READ THIS! We have recently purchased a new high resolution scanner. I will be using it to list every item that fits on the scanner bed. I practiced with some 45 sleeves and the scanner seems to catch more defects than a camera. I would really appreciate some feedback from my buyers this week to see whether you like the new method. IF YOU STILL WANT pictures taken with a camera, PLEASE request them from me. I am MORE than willing to send you all the pictures you like.
I'm digging into some of my personal collection and listing some 45s, Eps, and Lp records. I'll be listing them with my regular precise grading schedule from Presleyana. As always, please remember that records are collectibles, and everyone grades them in their own way. I stick by my grades as having been involved with Elvis memorabilia for the majority of my life. This being said, all items are sold as is.
Elvis Presley EP 45 record EPA-5121 Peace in the Valley Gold Standard Series. This is the VERY RARE Maroon Label variation. I rank this as the 2nd toughest Maroon label record. Good luck!
Sleeve Condition - 8 - I know, strange to give such a high grade to a sleeve with ripped paper and pen, but wait till you hold this sleeve. The back is VERY white, VERY crisp printing. The front is also VERY clean. Everything is bright, the seams are perfect as is the spine. The back is BONE WHITE.
Record Condition - 5.5 - The vinyl shows some scratching, but it played okay, as in there was no skipping or bad pops. Pretty cool listening to such a rare record. I went to the local record store for this one to play it. The Side 1 label has an "X" marked on it and Side two is wrinkled little bit. This is an impossible record to get the maroon variation on.
