Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1972 release of An American Trilogy / The First Time Ever I saw Your Face released in the USA.
The vinyl record itself (74-0672)is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
The labels have some ringwear / rubbing but NO WRITING ( see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $50 in the condition it is in now (which I would say is ONLY in VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD- ) for the sleeve alone!!!
There is NO WRITING
There are a few things that stop this from grading even higher such as heavy creases / ringwear / scuff marks and some tears. ( Hence the lower starting price!)
This sleeve falsely advertises From Elvis " Standing Room Only " Album !
This album NEVER came out as an official release ( Elvis as recorded at Madison Square Garden came out instead)
This sleeve does not come up for auction very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS A GREATCHANCE TO GET THIS AS AN AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £115+ COPY COMES ALONG!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $75 (£65 approx.)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £67.
With a starting price at under half that you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer discounted shipping on multiple purchases. (Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AND EBAY AND PAYPAL TAKING 10% OF THE POSTAGE COSTS
