ELVIS PRESLEY: "Bootleg ELVIS!" massive 632 page hardback book, 8 x 12 inches in size (TWICE the size I'd anticipated & TWICE as heavy also). This is the best BOOK EVAH! (& yeh, I helped & I'm IN the credits!). The history & illustrated discography of the vinyl bootleg "custom pressings" Elvis industry: 45's, EP's, 10", LP's & 12" singles! Chapters by those that were there: Theaker, Dowling, Lalibert'e, Riff, etc.Color vinyl is illustrated, obviously IN COLOR (as are the color covers with very few exceptions). THIS IS IT! Book now out-of-print from publishers so these are now instant collector's items (so I'm now forced by economics to have to auction whatever's left after I meet my reserves). Scans: #1: cover, #2: the details (enlarge on this to see all the scoop), #3: inside covers (tinted red & showing a collage of bootleg covers, just beautiful!), #4: color Sun repro's, #5-7: interior pages illustrating various releases, #8: 2-page spread of color vinyl LP's, AWESOME!, #9: how DID the first Elvis bootleg come about?, #10-11: "The Man in the Shadows": "Vic Colonna", aka: Sam Theaker, #12: more color vinyl LP repro's.
POSTAGE: since book is twice as big, I now have to get different postage quotes, so will put these new rates up on Mon. (Aug. 6). ($4 will probably NOT cover it within USA) & I'm guessing at $25 (for overseas). NOTE: I am no longer shipping to FRANCE (I've now been burned by 3 FRENCH consecutively, including a FRENCH Canadian!), so move along, Frenchy, ya bother me...
