Description

As I continue to auction my enormous 35-year-plus collection of Elvis Presley records, you now have the opportunity to bid on this NM- copy of "G.I. BLUES" (LPM-2231). Released in 1960 on the RCA Victor label, this First Pressing has very glossy vinyl and super clean labels! There is just some light spindle marks. The Matrix Numbers are (Side 1): L2 PP-3657-7S and (Side 2): L2 PP-3658-10S. This record exhibits stunning eye-appeal and it appears to have been very rarely played! There are just a few paper sleeve scuffs that are barely noticable. These should, in no way, have any affect on the "New Orthophonic High Fidelity" sound quality. The cover is EXCELLENT in spite of the number ("294") that someone had written in green color pencil on the back. There is just a small trace of edge and corner wear! There is no other writing, grafitti, seam splits, tape or stickers anywhere on this item! Even though this LP sold literally millions of copies, very few of those have survived in this lofty grade, which makes this particular album a strong candidate for addition to the finest of Elvis collections around. See the photos and judge for yourself.
