Elvis Presley - G.I. BLUES (LSP-2256) First Pressing EXCELLENT

As I continue to auction my enormous 35-year-plus collection of Elvis Presley records, you now have the opportunity to bid on this EXCELLENT copy of "G.I. BLUES" (LSP-2231) in "Living Stereo"! Released in 1960 on the RCA Victor label, this First Pressing has very glossy vinyl and gorgeous labels! One would have to strain their eyes in an attempt to locate a spindle mark! The Matrix Numbers are (Side 1): L2 PY-3659-1S and (Side 2): L2 PY-3660-1S, which are the lowest possible matrix numbers! This is another record in my auctions this week that exhibits such stunning eye-appeal. It was obviously adult owned since new and appears to have been very rarely played! There are just some very light, superficial marks that should not have any affect on the "New Orthophonic High Fidelity" sound quality. The cover is VG+ with a 1-1/4 inch split at the upper seam, some corner and edge wear, plus some wrinkling. Still a very attractive cover with bold colors. There is no writing, grafitti, tape or stickers anywhere on this item! Even though this LP sold literally millions of copies, very few of those have survived in this lofty grade. That is what makes this particular album so desirable and worthy of being added to the finest of Elvis Presley collections around. So original! See the photos and judge for yourself.
