ELVIS PRESLEY - "IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD'S FAIR" (LSP-2697) - RARE SECOND PRESSING OF THIS ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING FROM 1963!
RECORD: VG with a good amount of surface scuffing, although the record retains its high fidelity and plays quite well. I played this record in its entirety. There are just some light random "ticks" in areas. Definitely no skips, loud "pops" or annoying repeats! This 1963 Original Soundtrack Recording is the very rare and highly sought-after SECOND pressing with the "RCA Victor" in White at the top of the labels, in place of the more common Silver! These were pressed sometime between 1964 and 1968 when RCA Victor switched to the Orange Label. The matrix numbers on this Indianapolis pressing end with 8S/10S. The labels are very clean and original with just some spindle marks and fingerprints noticed.
COVER: VG+ with a 1-inch lower seam split as well as a 4-inch lower seam break at the center. This is not a serious break and is barely noticeable. Even though there was no "Monaural" copies of the rare "White Top" variety of this album, The "LPM/LSP-2697" remains on the back slick. The ring wear is very light on this cover. The spine is smooth and fully legible. Some minor corner and edge wear is noticed. There is no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. A very scarce and original album to add to any collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.
INNER SLEEVE: The original "Elvis' Great LP Catalog" inner sleeve. There are splits, however.
