ELVIS PRESLEY – “IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD’S FAIR” (LSP-2697) – VERY SCARCE SECOND PRESSING with “White Top” logo on Labels!
RECORD: VG+ on the upper end with just a couple surface scuffs away from VG++ (EXC). The surfaces are glossy and original with beautiful labels! This Indianapolis pressing sounded great upon test-play, with no skips or repeats. There are just a few very light spindle marks on the labels. The vast majority of copies of this Original Soundtrack Recording are First Pressings with the all-silver print labels. These Second Pressings are quite scarce in any grade and the Orange Label issues from 1968 are downright RARE! In 38 years of collecting Elvis records, I have never even seen a single copy. The matrix numbers on this record are 8S/10S.
COVER: NM- with full, original shrink wrap! The only reason for the “minus” is a small amount of corner wear at the open end as well as some minor wear along those edges. Add this very scarce album to your collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia today!
