Description

Here for auction is a hard to find early copy of RCA LSP-2256, Elvis G.I. BLUES with the sticker featuring WOODEN HEART on the cover. Apparently these are prized copies because my Goldmine guide places a $600 near mint value on this record. This copy is in VG+ condition. The cover is very clean with no seem splits or soiling. The wooden heart sticker has about an inch tear in it. It looks like someone started to peel it off and then changed their mind. The vinyl is also very clean with just a few ticks on some of the songs. No scratches or hiss. The cover has the Living Stereo in the upper right and on the lable like the guide says it should. I got this record from a gentleman who worked for an appliance company that also had a regional distribution contract for RCA records back in the 50's-60's.. He had some nice records that he took home back then and all were in very nice condition. He brought them home, played them a few times and then put them on the shelf. I have two other nice Elvis pieces from this group on ebay this week. Please view my other auctions. Overseas bidders welcome. USPS letter post air mail overseas is $12.
