Description

Hi, on offer is a copy in super stereo LSP- 2999, a very rare stereo pressing of roustabout on the black and silver RCA VICTOR HMV label.

This is a very rare copy, features the HMV old style dog logo below the RCA Victory logo, with run out numbers RPMS 5278-4S, and on the be side, the runouts are RPMS 5279 -4S

These lp were press in small numbers mainly for the european markets, making these copy's very rare and hard to find today, and the sound for the time of pressing, is superb.

What also make this copy, 1 in a hand full, is its condition, ( my grading will alway air on not, being over zealous )

COVER, is heavy cardboard and Is in good condition, showing some wear and slightly split at the top and bottom off opening about 40 mm in length, but only showing a minimal storage ring on both the front and back, but this is only light, the spine is intact showing little wear, but writing is off to the rear, also showing the RCA Victor, with the hmv dog logo front and back

The INNER SLEEVE, nice clean print but the seems have split.

The VINYL, is truely the best part of this item.

The labels are in near mint condition only showing no spindle marks on both sides assuming very little play or no play at all, the vinyl visually near mint condition showing 1 or 2 fine paper marks but still has that just purchased sheen, however.

the sound quality is fantastic, this is why i would question if its be played.

GRADING, using the records collectors guide, i would grade the cover as very good, but the vinyl, EX+++ to mint.

A great album for any record collector.
