Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1966 single Love Letters / Come What May released in the USA.
The record itself (47-8870)is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are a few marks/scratches(nothing too deep or drastic)
The labels are CLEAN and have NO WRITING!!(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $40-45 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone.
This is the 2ND and MUCH RARER issued sleeve advetizing "ASK FOR " Original Soundtrack LP. Paradise,Hawaiian Style (rather than 1st issue "COMING SOON")
There are NO SPLITS or WRITING!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear/creases and slight age discolouration and a rip at the top opener and the bottom(see photos)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $50-55(£35 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £37.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
