Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis Volume 2 released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 993 dog on top)is in VERY GOOD+ condition with a few visible marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains some of it's natural sheen.
The centre labels are quite bright, however there is a name written (blending into the backgrounnd) and a nail varnish blob.(see photos)
This is the RARE issue WITHOUT Horizontal Line.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $45-50 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 56 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS , TEARS or WRITING.(see photos)
The only thing that stops this grading higher is ringwear/scuff marks/discolouration(see photos)
This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £85+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $60(£40+approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £43.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
