Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1966 single Love Letters / Come What May released in the USA.
The record itself (47-8870)is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
The labels are CLEAN and have NO WRITING!!(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50-55 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone.
This is the 2nd and MUCH RARER issued sleeve advertizing "Ask For" Original Soundtrack LP. Paradise,Hawaiian Style (rather than 1st issued "COMING SOON")
There are NO RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear/creases, age discolouration/speckling /staining and the sides have some clear tape along them(see photos)
That said , this Hard To Find sleeve will make an affordable collection filler until that mint $80 sleeve comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $60-45(£35 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £38.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
