Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Love Me Tender released in the USA.

The record itself (EPA- 4006 dog on top)is in EXCELLENT-  condition with a few light marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.

The centre labels are clean and have NO WRITING! (see photos).

This is also a 1ST pressing as indicated by the identification numbers Iin the trail off G2-WH7524-1S and G2-WH7523-1S

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50-55  in the condition it is in now (which i would say is EXCELLENT- ) for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is 59 years old and is in Nice condition for the age.

There are NO SPLITS,RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!. (see photos)

The only thing that stops this from grading is some light age discolouration on the bottom banding.(see photos)

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $75(£50 approx) .

I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £52.

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
