Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Loving You (vol 1) released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 1 - 1515 dog on top) is in EXCELLENT- condition with minimal visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic. (see photos)
The centre labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING (see photos).
THIS ALSO HAS THE ADDED BONUS OF BEING A 1ST PRESSING AS INDICATED BY THE 1s IN THE TRAIL OFF.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $55 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 60 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS or TEARS (see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is ringwear/ age discolouration/scuff marks/ staining and the release date written on both sides(see photos)
This is a really affordable copy until that MINT £80+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70(£50 approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £52.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases!(Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AS OF MARCH 2017
