Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Loving You (vol 1) released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 1 - 1515 dog on top)is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition with some visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.
THIS IS THE RARE ISSUE WITHOUT HORIZONTAL LINE!!!!!
This is also the rare 1st pressing as indicated by the 1s in the trail off.
The centre labels have NO WRITING(see photos).
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 58 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is ringwear/discolouration/scuff marks and the shop price stamp on the rear(see photos)
This is a really affordable copy until that MINT £80+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $80(£53 approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
