Description
Rare and unusual Elvis Presley collector’s LP featuring his historic television appearances on The Dorsey Brothers Stage Show from 1956.
This unofficial German pressing on the GUN / TOY label compiles Elvis’ complete performances from the famous Dorsey television broadcasts — some of the earliest nationally televised appearances that helped launch his career.
These early performances capture Elvis backed by Scotty Moore, Bill Black, D.J. Fontana and The Jordanaires, delivering explosive versions of classics such as Blue Suede Shoes, Heartbreak Hotel, Tutti Frutti, Shake Rattle & Roll, and I Got A Woman.
Bootlegs from this label are increasingly difficult to find and are sought after by collectors of early Elvis material and historic TV recordings.
