Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 Gold Standard Series single Wooden Heart  / Blue Christmas released in the USA.

The record itself (447-0720 Dog On Top )is in VERY GOOD condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.

There are some visible marks/scratches.

The labels are CLEAN and have NO WRITING!(see photos)

The picture sleeve is much sought after and is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition. (hence the lower start)

This sleeve is over 50 years old and has a few flaws which stop this grading higher(see photos)

The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some ringwear/scuff marks/creases, small tears to the top opener and seam splits on the bottom and side. (see photos)

On the plus side there is NO WRITING!

THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND and will make an adequate affordable collection filler until that mint $100 record and sleeve comes along!!!

Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $42+(£28) , so i guess it must now be at least £30.

I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE, you will get a GREAT bargain.
