I have for auction Elvis Presley's second album which is an extremely rare copy.  Only a few copies exist worlwide.  This sleeve does not have the advertisement on back like the other 12 versions of this album and has the 17s matrix as well as the OLD SHEP alternate version.  Below is the information regarding the details and the album I have matched all matrix numbers and added all original photos.   I have added the information below regarding this album in mint condition. This album goes for as much as $1000.00 to $1250.00 MINT.  Of course mine is not mint however it is in very good condition and it is a nice collectors piece.  I have added the information found on the internet for this exact album and included the link for you to check out as well.  I have also added as many pictures as possible so there is plenty of information to make your decision

• The vinyl is shiny with a few light scuffs and plays well, no skips, no warps, no spindle marks, minimal pops and background noise.  Does not interfere with the listening experience   Matrix numbers are G2WP-7208-17S and G2WP- 7207-17S with the alternate version of Old Shep....... VG+
• The originall inner sleeve in excellent condition, no wrinkles.  Only at the bottom is it starting to split about three inches....... NM
• The outer sleeve is still shiny and no ringwear.  Who ever had it before me put tape on the top and bottom of the sleeve to keep it together, however did a pretty good job and you don't notice on front.  On the back it is a little more noticeable (see pictures).  Front of sleeve....... VG+......Back of sleeve....... VG

I have followed the Goldmine Standard of grading as closely as possible.

VG+   A good description of a VG+record is "except for a couple of minor things this would be Near Mint.  Most collectors, especially those who want to play thier records will be happy with a VG+ record.  VG= records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratchesthat do not affect the listening experience

The unbelievable rare mispressing (17S matrix) of Elvis´ second album was pressed November 1956 in the USA. Only a very few copies of this do exist worldwide. This record mistakenly contains an alternate version of Old Shep, which wasn´t released prior 1992. This one has even the hard to find sleeve, only with liner notes and  no pictured records on the backside and it is probably the best ever seen shape of both record and cover. Still with original inner sleeve.

This is the highly sought after and hard to find mispressing of Elvis second album, simply named Elvis. It contains an alternate version (take 5) of Old Shep which wasn´t released on any other authorized LP prior the 1992 LP/CD box set The Complete 50´s Masters. The matrix number on side 2 is the first important mark to identify the mispressing. This LP has the stamped numbers   G2 WP7207-17S and G2 WP7208-17S and to become certain, the song was finally identified alternate by listening to it. As the general Elvis LP, this one was released in the United States in November 1956, shortly after Elvis´ record breaking and legendary performances at the Ed Sullivan Show. RCA Victor made 12(!) different cover variations for this album. All backsides of the covers picture several records made by RCA at various combinations. Only one cover variation pictured no records on the backside. Only liner notes were printed on the backside instead. This is the hardest to find cover. The here pictured copy has still the original inner sleeve. A portion of it is pictured above.
