Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 release of Jailhouse Rock / Treat Me Nice released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7035 )is in VERY GOOD+ condition .
There are a few marks/scratches(nothing too deep or drastic).
The labels are clean and have NO WRITING (see photos)
This is the RARE issue WITHOUT THE HORIZONTAL LINE.
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50-60 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!
Although this sleeve is 54 years old there are a few signs of age/wear(see photos)
The only things that stop this from grading higher is some ringwear/creases, a couple of small rips to the top opener and a name written on the bottom of the Jailhouse Rock side.(see photos)
The ORIGINAL shop price stamp(89c) is also on the Jailhouse Rock side.
That all said , this is nothing too drastic and This is still a great affordable collection filler until that MINT $130 copy comes along!
Overall this was valued at about $75(£49) back in 2008 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £50.
I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!
THIS WILL SERVE AS A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £80+ MINT COPY COMES ALONG
This, as with ALL of my picture sleeve releases comes housed in a separate paper sleeve containing the record and a protective poly sleeve to help prevent ny further future wear!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA and Japanese picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple shipping!
