Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 release of Jailhouse Rock / Treat Me Nice released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7035 )is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition .
There are quite a few marks/scratches and a couple of what look like manafacturing lines about half a cm in width on both sides which can be seen but cant be felt.
That said this auction is more about the rare sleeve!
The labels are clean and have NO WRITING (see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $60 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT-/ VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!
Although this sleeve is 54 years old there are a few signs of age/wear(see photos)
There are NO SEAM SPLITS , RIPS or TEARS!
The only things that stop this from grading higher is some small white spot marks and slight damage near the bottom on the Jailhouse Rock side along with the release date written on the top left corner on one side and a name in the same position on the other.
That all said , this is nothing too drastic and This is still a great affordable collection filler until that MINT $130 copy comes along!
Overall this was valued at about $80(£51) back in 2008 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £55.
I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!
THIS WILL SERVE AS A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £80+ MINT COPY COMES ALONG
This, as with ALL of my picture sleeve releases comes housed in a separate paper sleeve containing the record and a protective poly sleeve to help prevent ny further future wear!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA and Japanese picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple shipping!
