Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Love Me Tender released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-4006 dog on top)is in VERY GOOD condition with quite a few light marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains some of it's natural sheen.
The centre labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING!!!
This is the RARE issue WITH Horizontal Line.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2002 as $50-60 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 53 years old and is in great condition for the age.
There are NO RIPS or TEARS or WRITING(see photos)
The only thing that stops this grading higher is some scuff marks, a partial seam split on the top and bottom and age discolouration on the rear(see photos)
This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £85+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $60(£40+approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £45+.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
