Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 release of Love Me Tender / Anyway You Want Me released in the USA.

The record itself (47-6643 )is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.

There are a few marks/scratches, but nothing too deep or drastic though (see photos).

The labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING!(see photos)

This is the RARE issue WITHOUT THE HORIZONTAL LINE. (you could say this is this U.S equivilant of HMV SILVER WRITING UK issue!)

The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2002 as $55-60 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is  EXCELLENT- /VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!

THIS IS 2 OF THE 2 PINK SLEEVES ISSUED , THIS BEING THE DARK PINK (rather than the alternative light pink)

This sleeve is over 53 years old and there are very few signs of ageing.

The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some creases and a couple of spots on the wording on the rear of the sleeve(see photos)

That all said the colours are quite bright.

Overall this was valued at about $85(£55) back in 2006.

I will start this at way under HALF of that!!

THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £70+ COPY COMES ALONG!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.

Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.

I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases.
