Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 release of Love Me Tender / Anyway You Want Me released in the USA.

The record itself (47-6643 )is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen .

There are a few marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic (see photos).

The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING!!!(see photos)

This is the RARER issue WITH THE HORIZONTAL LINE. (you could say this is this U.S equivilant of HMV GOLD WRITING UK issue!)

The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2002 as $60-65 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is  VG+)for the sleeve alone!!!

THIS IS ONE OF THE RARER SLEEVES ISSUED FOR THIS (rather than the more common pink)

This sleeve is over 50 years old and there are few signs of ageing.

There are NO RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!!!.(see photos). 

The only thing that stops this grading higher is this has been "Clipped" / Cut down one side of the sleeve, hence the LOW START!

THIS IS ONLY THE 1ST ORIGINAL COPY OF THE GREEN SLEEVE I HAVE EVER SOLD IN OVER 6 YEARS OF SELLING ON EBAY!!!

Overall this was valued at about $100(£71) back in 2006 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £75.

 I will start this at way under HALF of that!!

THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £100+ COPY COMES ALONG!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
