Description
This is an auction for an original copy of the RARE 1972 Elvis Presley single He Touched Me / Bosom Of Abraham released in the USA.
The record itself (74-0651 orange Label) is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
There are a few light marks / scratches (nothing too deep or drastic)
The labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING.
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2006 as a cool $150(£97) in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT-)for the sleeve alone!!!
Whilst Elvis' album's were the only Grammy winners in his lifetime the sacred 45 rpm releases enjoyed little chart success , therefore are a lot harder to find due to the poor sales!!
This picture sleeve is one of those harder to find releases!
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS,TEARS or WRITING (see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some creases/scuff marks and ringwear(Very common with this release) (see photos).
I would grade the sleeve as VERY GOOD+
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this great sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $180(£116approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £120. ( i have seen this fetch in excess of £120 )
I WILL START THAT AT UNDER A THIRD THAT!!!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
