Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1965 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Tickle Me released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-4383 dog on top)is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition with quite a few scratches/ marks (none too deep) and a slight edge warp(which shouldnt affect play) but retains some of it's natural sheen.
The centre labels have NO WRITING but do have some scuff marks/ringwear!(see photos) .
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VG+ )for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 46 years old and is in raesonable condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS,RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!.
The only things that stop this from grading even higher some ringwear, age discolouration / speckling.(see photos)
That said This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £65+ copy comes along.
This is the 1st of the 3 sleeves issued for this release and advertizes "Coming Soon" Special Elvis Anniversary LP Album.
THIS IS QUITE A HARD SLEEVE TO FIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $65(£42 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £45.
PLEASE REMEMBER OVERALL CONDITION IF/WHEN PLACING A BID!
THIS SERVES A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £65+ record and Sleeve come along!!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
