Description
This is one of 8 Emmett Miller and His Georgia Crackers 78s I'll be putting up the next few days.Emmette's back up band The Georgia Crackers is Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey along with Eddie Land who was also known as Blind Willie Dunn. This is a Beautiful 78 on Okeh Electric label # 41305.The songs are titled Lovin' Sam Sheik of Alabam on one side and has Big Bad Bill on the other side. The Lovin's sam side is Beautiful with extremely light to light scratches and a few extremely light to light scuffs.Has a small groove dig which does not affect play at all. This side also has the most tinest gold colored specks in the grooves which appear to have happened when the record was pressed as they are the exact same color as the gold on the records label.I played this side and it plays fantastic with extremely light static when the treble is adjusted at the halfway point.Plays with almost no static at all when treble is down all the way. Those tiny flecks of gold do not affect play at all as it really plays gorgeously. The Big Bad Bill side has extremely light scratches with 2 very small scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has a couple of very light to light scuffs and only a few tiny gold flecks on this side.Has a couple very tiny minor pit marks. This side plays Beautifully also with extremely light to light static. When treble is down all the way plays even better.I must also add the grooves do have some wear please see picture but they do not seem to affect play as it plays so nicely. It also comes with a scarce Okeh Electric original nearly 80 year old sleeve. The sleeve is very nice although it has a small 1 1/2 inch bottom split and a # written in the upper left corner.Very small tear but hole on sleeve but still looks great with the 78 in it.Please check my other Emmett Miller 78s including a few scarce Ony Odeon label Emmett Millers I have up.I also combine multiple auctions to save on shipping. If the buyer is not 100% satiafied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.Buyer to pay $4.00 Media rate shipping anywhere in the U.S.Please add $1.00 if insurance is desired.
