Blue Note BLP 4163
USA mono pressing from 1966 with VAN GELDER stamps. Does not have the 'ear' (P) stamps.
Comes with the correct 1966 '27 Years Blue Note' inner sleeve.
Record condition: looks VG+, plays EX Record retains full shine, with just some light surface scuffs/stylus lines. No feelable scratches. There are also some pinhead sized pressing bubbles in the vinyl. The record sounds terrific from start to finish, playing clean and crisp with just some soft touches of surface noise occasionally audible. The aforementioned pressing bubbles are harmless. There are a few soft 'thuds', but they are largely inaudible. Both labels are clean.
Cover condition: VG++ Overall this is a fantastic looking cover, and would be graded much higher but for a split on the bottom seam. Very crisp on both the front and back. No ring or rubbing wear, and the white background has only some light age toning on the front. The spine and top seam are 100% intact and all print is crystal clear. Open edge is also unworn. The split is at the centre of the bottom seam, around 3" long. It is not too prominent. as it lies in a largely dark area of the graphics, and there looks to have been a sport of touching up to camouflage it further.
Inner condition: VG- Split seams, a tear at the top and some staining. The record will be shipped in a generic inner to prevent any worsening while in the mail.
