Description
This is from a fantastic LP collection I recently acquired. Light plays only on top equipment and very well looked after. All were kept in PVC sleeves. DESCRIPTION: Eve boswell with The Reg Owen Orchestra- Sugar and Spice.1st uk pressing with matrix ending 1N/1N, black and gold labels and orignal inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Parlophone PMD 1039 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1956 COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX+. Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Tilted to the light you can make out the odd light brushng line only.. Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Music is clear, clean and loud. It has an occasional soft tick. I really dont want to clean this as it is so old and beautiful. If the winning bidder wants me to give it a clean in my cleaning machine i will but Id prefer you did it yourself! You are simply not going to get a better cover for this LP. . It retains fantastic shape. It is really clean and white. The flipbacks are so clean and completely undamaged. There is the indentation of a previous price which you may be able to see on photo 8. (26/5). The cover is firm and square and has minimal edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. The original inner also retians great shape. It has a 1" tear on the opening flap but is still complete. It also has fine splits to 2 of 3 edges. Super clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Great copy all round. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
