Description

An original 1963/64 UK LP of The Beatles Debut Album - Please Please Me.
This is an extremely rare version of the debut LP.
The third press brought in the standard yellow and gold parlophone label. However, when the gold and black 1st and 2nd press label was dropped a very small number of the new third press retained the original 33 1/3 marking from the original label. This was quickly stopped and the remaining presses from the third onwards dropped the additional small 33 1/3 marking.
Online Beatles / LP webpages say that this is a rare version of the LP and that it can be around 10 times more likely to come across a gold and black press than this particular LP.
A great album - great music.  
LP condition - decent to good - light scratches present around LP. LP cover:  substantial damage at bottom of LP cover (please see photos)  The front photo is in good condition.  Staining on the back of the cover. LP play - good sound but has varying level of background crackle.  low to medium crackle. Decent sound overall. Comes with new anti-static slip cover for protection (as seen in photo)
