FAIRPORT CONVENTION
"LIEGE & LIEF"
ORIGINAL ISLAND RECORDS cat# ILPS 9115 ~ from 1969 Original 1969 FIRST PRESSING LP Release with A/1 - B/1 Matrixes
The best British folk rock band were prolific in recording and live performance, and their standard was equally high in musicianship. This their 4th album certainly bears that out! Sandy Denny is in fine voice, before her spell with 'Fotheringay'. A rare talent and sorely missedThe disc is in lovely condition! A heavy vinyl looking spotless, no marks whatsoever. ===============================
Condition; The VINYL is NM, as clean as you will find. (I managed to attract some dust removing the disc from it's sleeve, so it will need a light clean before play) A SUPERB COPY, and very carefully played and stored over 45 years.
LABLES are NM- ..... The GATEFOLD COVER grades EX as photographed above. clean on all faces with very sparse light sign of wear. NO seam stress to the edges. Clean and bright card, the delicate colours are not spoiled by handling. *
