Description

This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the sole LP by Cream-style power trio Fields, released in 1969.  All of the group's members were alumni of mid-'60s garage group the Preachers (whose transcendent mauling of Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love" appeared on the first volume of the Pebbles series) and the short-lived freakbeat group the W.C. Fields Memorial Electric String Band, who released two sought-after singles in 1966.  Their LP features five shortish tracks on side 1 and a near-20 minute workout called "Love Is the Word" on side 2.  The unipak jacket is all but M- with some light creasing along the spine and light bottom seam wear (EX+).  The top seam has come half unglued.  The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with a little light surface noise (M-).

I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
