Description
This is the original Pegasus record which is VERY rare! It is even more rare in this fabulous condition. The vinyl is pretty much mark free; barely any marks whatsoever. No scratches. The labels are unmarked with no spindlewear at all. I am playing the record on my high end Clearaudio system and there is barely any background noise whatsoever, even in the quiet passages. The intro to the album which is unbelievable with respect to crackle! The sound is impressively clear and the vinyl shiny black. I have professionally vacuum cleaned the record.
The inner sleeve is white as pictured.
The cover is at least Very Good and probably Excellent. There is a white mark where the top of the record has somehow caused some removal of the print. The Back cover is Excellent. The spine is very good with a slight scratching away of the printed colour at the top corner.
This really is an impressive item which is in incredible condition especially considering its age.
Fuschia was an unusual line-up -a typical rock trio with a female classical strings trio- Fuchsia created this gem in late 1971. Perhaps to be described as part of the Progressive Folk scene, the band created a completely original sound with complex arrangements and "multi-rhythmic" patterns, excellent musicianship, charming melodies and lot of adventurous musical ideas. One of those albums that is so much better on vinyl!
