Description

FURRY LEWIS

Victor 21664-Kassie Jones Part 1/Part 2. Fine playing copy of one of the most essential pre-war ballads ever recorded. Surreal narration of Kassie Jones story recorded in Memphis 1928. First reissued by Harry Smith on his Anthology of American Folk Music. An amazing record

CONDITION E-/EE-

NOTES Slight label fade. Bit of very mild spindle wear A label. A has some very light marks that do not affect sound or playback

SHIPPING Buyer pays shipping. Paypal accepted. All packages in US over $10 now include free delivery confirmation. Grading is VJM scale (for more info go to www.vjm.biz/Record%20Grading.htm) I have lots of experience packing fragile 78s (thick cardboard, peanuts, etc) but always recommend insurance (anything selling for over $100 will require insurance, which will affect overseas shipping rates quite a bit, US customers can get a quote for UPS if they prefer on anything over $100 as insurnace is quite a bit cheaper through them)
