I HAVE JUST ACQUIRED A SMALL COLLECTION OF A DOZEN OR SO ROCK N ROLL LP's INCL JOHNNY BURNETTE , JERRY LEE LEWIS , FATS DOMINO , LITTLE RICHARD , THE CHAMPS , THE CHANTAYS AND EDDIE COCHRAN , I WILL BE LISTING ALL OVER THE NEXT WEEK OR SO AND I MUST SAY THIS REALLY IS A VERY NICE COLLECTION .
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RECORD HAS BEEN VACUUM CLEANED ON BOTH SIDES USING MY PROJECT PRO CLEANING MACHINE THANK YOU .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS , CD's , CASSETTES AND DVD's ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED FROM START TO FINISH INCLUDING ALL SIDES FOR ALL DOUBLE AND TRIPLE ALBUMS AND BOX SETS THANK YOU .
ALL RECORDS ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED ON MY TRUSTY AIWA TURNTABLE AND GOOD QUALITY JVC AMP . THIS DOES ONLY HAVE A STD BASS AND TREBLE CONTROL WHICH I HAVE SET ON A HIGH " TINNY " SETTING . I LIKE TO SET IT LIKE THIS AS IT PICKS UP EVEN THE VERY SLIGHTEST BIT OF NOISE SO I KNOW I CAN DESCRIBE EVERY LP CORRECTLY ETC . I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT PLAYED ON BETTER OR TOP QUALITY SYSTEMS WITH GREATER AND MORE TECHNICAL SOUND CONTROL ETC , THESE RECORDS WILL SOUND A LOT BETTER THAN I HAVE DESCRIBED . I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I OFTEN GIVE RECORDS ANOTHER QUICK PLAY ON THE FIRST COUPLE OF TRACKS ON MY PERSONAL TOP QUALITY PIONEER SYSTEM AND I DO FIND THAT MOST OF ANY NOISES LIKE CRACKLE ETC ARE MUCH MUCH QUIETER , SOME EVEN HARDLY SOUND AT ALL . I TEST EVERY RECORD AND FIND THAT MY AIWA WILL COVER MANY OTHER SIMILAR SET UPS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE , I DID WANT TO JUST POINT THIS OUT , THANK YOU .
Please note that i do tend to use " Very Good Condition " for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in great detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and is clearly unplayed . Even with these i am wary because if the record has been stored for years in maybe a damp garage or loft etc and has not been opened , then we can only presume it should be mint because we obviously can't actually see the record . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use Very Good most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much at all , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest and small surface hairline marks only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , more better than very good and closer to near ( if not ) excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly " Very Good " but with very detailed descriptions also of which i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , but as i say please do check my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. Fats Domino Rock And Rollin' LP Scarce Date Coded 56.11 Pro Cleaned See Details . On UK London Plum / Silver Print Labels HA-U 2028 . This is the scarcer fully laminated cover with the top and bottom scalloped flipbacks , the bottom right corner of the flipback is also date coded 56.11 .
COVER: Fully laminated ( scalloped top and bottom flipbacks ) cover in a very very very strong very good / near excellent condition , though i think a lot may say better overall , would have been easily near if not actually closer to excellent but for a tiny what looks like a drawing pin hole through each corner and a bit of age related fading / pale yellowing on the rear , still very nice and clean though , this cover really is a very nice example and certainly still one of the best i have seen a very long time .
FRONT: Very nice and clean and still retains a lovely glossy sheen overall with just a bit of usual but light only dulling in places . A very very few usual but very light and very small surface laminate crease lines in places round the outer edges and just a couple of other light ones in places , there are just two or three very light and small very soft dents and one light crease / dent very close to the left hand side edge on the bottom half . Really hardly any obvious surface marks at all , mainly just a few usual but extremely light and fine hairline swirls in places . As mentioned , there is what looks like a single drawing pin tiny pierced hole through each of the corners , not really obvious on the bottom corners , but clearly visible on the darker coloured top corners . There is a tiny bit of the surface paper and laminate missing , but this is on the bottom left corner and will be more described on the corner descriptions .There are the usual but amazingly , very light only ringwear marks with just a light impression of the outer edge of the record and just the faintest hint of an impression of the label section . A really very nice front cover still generally in fantastic shape .
TOP / BOTTOM / LEFT HAND SIDE MAIN EDGES: ( Not Including Corners And Right Next To Corners Please See Corner Description ) . TOP EDGE: No obvious signs of rub wear at all on the laminated part . BOTTOM EDGE: Mostly the same but with a couple of tiny laminate knicks , there is a very tiny knick / split on the bottom right corner which has spread ever so slightly onto the main edge , but this literally is just 3 or 4mm only . LEFT HAND SIDE EDGE: Normally obviously the spine edge , but these flimsy thin card covers of the time had all of the text printed on the rear and there was no actual spine . This edge has just a couple of tiny near pinhead sized rub spot marks in places and a couple of very light laminate knicks in places . 
MAIN SPINE EDGE: N/A .
OPENING EDGES: Notoriously wear prone edges but these really are still in great shape with really hardly any obvious rub wear present , there is no heavy fraying at all , mainly just a tiny bit of the lightest smallest denting in places and the lightest bit of rubbing / wear on the thicker parts near the corners where the cover has been glued together at the time of manufacture , both edges are still pretty much straight though there is a little very light curling on the front opening edge mainly around the centre section and a bit of gapping is present , but this as you can see is very light only . 
CORNERS: Some usual but mostly very light and very small bits of fray / dent wear on the corners , virtually all being confined to the tip ends on the top corners , but there is as previously mentioned , a tiny bit of surface paper and laminate missing on the bottom left corner ( both sides ) and the previously mentioned tiny 3 or 4mm knick / split on the bottom right corner , i have shown this in the photos .   
REAR: Still in really great shape overall . Again , hardly any obvious signs of surface marks present just the same very fine hairlines in places as mentioned on the front description , but as previously mentioned , there is age related fading / very pale yellowing present , obviously though this is to be expected considering the age , luckily though this is all consistent and not patchy at all , i wouldn't class this as overly excessive . A very very few usual but very light and small laminate surface crease lines in places round the outer edges and on the flipbacks . There are just a few very very light very soft dents in places mainly just above the bottom edge , but these really are very light only . Both flipbacks are generally excellent ( bar the drawing pin holes obviously ) though there is a bit of wear and denting etc on the end edge of the bottom flipback near the right hand corner which i have shown in the photos along with the date code .There are the usual but again generally very light ringwear marks with just an overall light impression of the outer edge of the record ( slightly more prominent towards the top right corner , but still light ) and just a very slight hint of an impression of the label section of the record . As i say , this cover really is still in great shape , a notoriously wear prone thin card cover , but i think this one really is still a very very nice example indeed overall .
INNER SLEEVE: Printed on one side ( pale lilac coloured print ) poly lined inner sleeve in near excellent overall condition . A few light general age related surface / handling marks in places and there are some bits of age related foxing / very very light browning , mainly round and just very near to the edges . The usual but generally very light ringwear marks and mainly just a very very few very light creases / dents in places , i say mainly as there are a couple of slightly more prominent creases ( certainly not large or heavy ) on the bottom edges and there are the usual but only very slightly more prominent creases / dents caused by the outer edge of the record on and near mainly the bottom corners and centre parts of the side edges . Some light only normal useage wear on the top opening edges and a very little on the side edges and corners . I can't confirm if this is the original inner sleeve , but it is consistent with the time period and label make . 
LABELS: London plum / silver print paper labels generally in excellent condition . Very nice and clean with just a very very very few very light and small usual spindle marks . Both labels are writing free .
RECORD: The overall visual grade under normal average household light conditions is a very very strong very good / near excellent condition on the playing surface , though certainly far far better than very good and i am really just using this as a starting point , in fact i think most people would say much closer to near excellent overall and some may even say a little closer to excellent overall , but i always prefer to under grade my records as you know , there are just a very very few usual but very very light and very fine hairline surface marks on both sides and just a small handful of slightly more visible ( a couple of single non sounding very light hairline scratches visible on S1 ) but still generally light hairlines in places , most of the finer hairlines i will say are also only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light , there are no nasty large deep gouges / nasty large deep scratches etc . I will say that there is what appears to be a line which runs round the blank run off just before the actual very end of the run off on both sides , they do appear to be done as part of the manufacturing process and to me appear to be machine done but obviously i can't confirm this in saying this , they can be felt , it passes through the line on both sides with just a brief but quite loud noise as it passes through it , i must admit i am at a loss to know what this line is . As i don't know what they are and because of the noise , to be sure , all i did in the end on my second testing was to just take the arm off when the record had finished and before it reached the line and again to be sure i would also recommend this action if you are unsure , actually i doubt most people would have even mentioned them , but as you know , i do like to be thorough with all my descriptions , i have shown this in the last photo so you can see exactly what i mean . Obviously this had no affect on the music playback at all as it is just on the run offs .
AUDIO A SIDE: It plays perfectly crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with very little real noise present on the music and there was no nasty loud prolonged crackle and no nasty loud ticks , all i heard was just a tiny bit of the faintest brief background only noise in three or four odd places only on T1 , this really was very minimal indeed , there was also a very little bit of faint background static in odd places only on tracks 2 and 5 , but again any of this was brief mainly background and very minimal only , obviously these are very old recordings and some of these odd bits of very light only background static noise would almost certainly be on the actual recordings , but you are certainly not going to get a totally noise free playback on a record this old or any record for that matter . There were a very few odd isolated very very light pops in places mainly on some quieter parts , but any were really very light only , anything else really was extremely minimal and extremely occasional and barely heard . There are obviously some usual and often louder noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and silent track changeover lines , though i must say that none were excessively loud at all . This side on the music really does still play and sound great and the audio tones are still awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a very nice shine . Really nice sound for such an old record ! .
AUDIO B SIDE: Again it plays perfectly crisp and clear throughout on the music with really hardly any noise worthy of mention , anything ( very little indeed ) really was extremely light background only , mainly a tiny bit of very faint very brief noise in odd places on T1 , but really very minimal only and just a couple of very light ticks near the end of T2 , anything else being ultra occasional ( really very very little indeed worthy of note ) , there were just a tiny handful of extremely light pops in places on some quieter parts only . There was some usual and louder noises on the silent run ins / offs and silent track changeover lines , but again nothing excessive at all with many being actually very quiet indeed .This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall on the music and the audio tones are still awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a nice shine . Considering it's age , this one really is a great sounding example overall ! must be up there with the better ones , though not loads of these about nowadays in this nice condition .

Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played , though not excessively but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite some light only surface marks and the odd light scuff of varying sizes , but there will be no nasty deep gouges etc . Some light noise and occasional usual light pop may sometimes be present on some quieter parts but no noise will be constant throughout or loud . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for quite a while now , this now other recent price increase , has seen me unfortunately have to put a slight increase on my postage charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers , jiffy bags , stiffeners , other packaging materials etc , Ebays 10% extra fee for seller postage costs plus their other fees and Paypal now charging 20p per item sold on Ebay plus their other fees . Please also note that I now send ALL non GF LP’s / 12" singles with a minimum of 3 stiffeners and all 7" singles with a minimum of 2 stiffeners ( more if i think they are needed ) , i never and don't agree with making money from postage and with all the added fees / extra stiffeners etc , most of my records including LP's sell for between £2 and £6 so all of this whilst not sounding a lot , does soon mount up and i actually do lose money on posting records , but I do obviously want to still remain competitive and still offer my usual top quality service , sorry again for this , thank you .
