This volume includes Why Black Man Dey Suffer, Noise for Vendor Mouth, Kalakuta Show, Excuse O, Ikoyi Blindness, Original Sufferhead, and Overtake Don Overtake Overtake. The artwork of each individual album was meticulously reproduced down to the last detail of the respective original vinyl pressing. This also applies to the vintage vinyl labels.
Included in the box are:
- 7 vinyl LPs
- A 20-page full color booklet featuring: introductions by Chris Martin and Femi Kuti, an in-depth commentary on each of the seven albums by music journalist and Afrobeat historian Chris May; lyrics; never-before-seen photos of Fela Kuti; as well as stills from the 1982 Fela documentary Music Is The Weapon.
- 16x24" poster designed by Nigerian artist Lemi Ghariokwu, the creative force behind 29 of Fela's album covers.
