Fleetwood Mac Future Games White Label Promo Original Yellow Record Jacket.
Single sleeve record jacket is VG+ (see photos) and the record is about a VG+. The original inner sleeve is VG++ (see photos).
The record has been cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and play tested. There is light surface crackling which can primarily be heard, is apparent, in the space between the music tracks. This record has clean white promo record labels with no spindle marks (see photos). Since the record and record labels look clean I am assuming it has not been mishandled, although there are a couple of light surface marks which do not affect play, I think the light crackling comes from the initial pressing/handling process.
By the time of this album's release, Jeremy Spencer had been replaced by Bob Welch and Christine McVie began to be more of a singer and songwriter. The result is a distinct move toward folk-rock and pop. Future Games sounds almost nothing like Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. Bob Welch's eight-minute title track (Future Games), featuring lead guitar from Danny Kirwan, has one of Welch's characteristic haunting melodies. Christine McVie's "Show Me a Smile" is one of her best ballads. The album sold better than any of the band's first three albums in the U.S.
