Description
Food Rare 1st Press CAN LP Forever is a dream VG '69 Capitol ST304 Psyche Rock
Rare Original Canadian LP released in 1969 on the reen Capitol REcords label. Cat: ST304.
Food's only album is fairly wide-ranging in its exploration of various modes of lighter, more pop-oriented psychedelic album rock. Certainly it's a record of its time, as you can tell from the fluttering distorted violin-ish guitar sustains, insertions of British psych-influenced horn fanfares, tempo changes, occasional probing vaguely trippy lyrics, uptempo soul-rock numbers, high piercing organ, and other such accoutrements.
Tracks : Forever is a daydream/ Naive prayers/ No/ Lady Miss Ann/ Fountains of my mind/ Coming back/ What it seems to be/ Inside the mirror/ Marbled wings/ Traveling light/ Leaves/ Here we go again.
There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles and light pops the occassionl click but over all places nicely and is in VG condition. Cover has some ring wear, small surface tears around edges, a smalld eletion hole on bottom right corner and scuffing on right corners and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
