THIS IS NOT A RECENT 180 GRAM RELEASE OR RECORD STORE DAY RELEASE. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PRESSING FROM 1977! THERE ARE NO CUT OUT CLIPS OR CORNER CUTS.
THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING ON ATLANTIC RECORDS (#SD 18215) LP THAT IS STILL FACTORY SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER.
THE ORIGINAL PRICE STICKER IS NO LONGER AFFIXED TO THE FRONT OF THE SHRINK WRAP. IT FELL OFF LONG AGO. I HAVE IT AND I AM INCLUDING IT. I TOOK A PICTURE WITH THE PRICE STICKER IN ITS ORIGINAL POSITION AND I TOOK A PICTURE OF IT JUST ABOVE WHERE IT WAS ORIGINALLY PASTED.(please see pics).
Good luck finding this cover that is still sealed in the ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP with the ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER as most people would tear off the shrink to see the inside. This cover is in MINT condition as it has been preserved in plastic lo these many years!
PLEASE NOTE: THE SHRINK WRAP HAS WEAR TYPICAL WITH WEAR, INCLUDING SMALL TEARS, SHRINKAGE, THE SHRINK WRAP HAS POKED THROUGH THE CORNERS OVER THE YEARS and THERE ARE CORNER DINGS / SOFT CORNERS. (please see pics).IF THIS IS A CONCERN FOR YOU, PLEASE DON'T BUY IT!
Up for sale is one(1) Foreigner - Self Titled Debut LP from 1977 on Atlantic Records (#SD 18215).I OBTAINED THIS LP SOMETIME IN THE LATE 1970s AND I NEVER OPENED IT.
The cover is in MINT condition with minimal wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, small dings and ring wear all of which are typical. AND ANY ISSUES STATED ABOVE.
The original price tag from Korvettes Department Store was affixed in the upper right corner of the front cover of the shrink wrap. It has long since fallen off. You can see where it was partially attached to the top of the Hype Sticker. (please see pics)
I am including the original price sticker from Korvettes Department Store for historical purposes. I have taken a picture with the price sticker in its original spot and a picture just above where it was pasted. (please see pics)
The vinyl and any inner sleeves are assumed to be mint as this is still factory sealed and untouched by human hands. The Hype Sticker is in VERY GOOD+ CONDITION with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to fading, scrapes, etc...all of which are typical.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
