Description

FROM MY OWN COLLECTION, ACCUMULATED SINCE 1962.   I'VE BEEN ASKED HOW MANY RECORDS THAT I HAVE. ALL I CAN SAY TOO MANY TO LIST IN THE TIME I HAVE ALLOTED TO DO SO. HOWEVER I AIM TO LIST AT LEAST 1500 BY THE SUMMER OF 2024.

I WAS A DJ FROM 1962 UPNTIL 2020(RETIRED FROM BEING DJ ON 13TH MARCH OF THAT YEAR WHEN THE PANDEMIC CLOSED THE NIGHT CLUBS AND VENUES) I CONVERTED ALL OF THE RECORDS THAT I USED TO CD'S TO PRESERVE THE ORIGINAL VINYL RECORDS BACK IN 1995. THE VINYL RECORDS WERE THEN STORED IN A DEDICATTED RECORD LIBRARY AREA WITHIN MY HOME.
I WAS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE TOURED AND WORKED WITH SO MANY SOUL AND MOTOWN ARTISTBOTH HERE IN THE UK AND OVERSEAS..

Grading of 45's
M-  Looks and sounds like new; such a grading is carefully considered before listing.
Ex  Excellent No scratches that stand out, There is almost no background noise.
VG++ Not quite as good as excellent, but really close; allows for very light label markings. W.O.L
VG+ Light scratches are evident on close examination, there is very little, or no background noise.
VG  Scratches and/or scuffs are visible, there will be light background noise. Still a very collectible
45  plays great
VG- Looks well used with scratches and wear evident, background scratchiness is audible. Does not
skip during play. Sound quality suitable for DJ use.
G+ know as Good grade, can be heavily scratched and show signs of being overplayed and not well
looked after due to possibly not being stored/enclosed in paper sleeve. Has a lot of surface noise and
clicks/popping but, still plays through without skipping. Label may be torn or water damaged.
Records rated "G" will look pretty rough with heavy/deep scratches and wear to the grooves very
evident but it will play through with no skips, and the surface noise will be noticeable , however can . be used for DJing purposes
