Description

This is a very rare and powerful documentary by the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee about the civil rights movement in Albany, Georgia in 1961-62. It features the powerful speech "The Eagle Stirreth Her Nest" by the Rev. Ben Gay. The original idea and field work was done by Guy Carawan. The disc is VG+ with some cosmetic scuffing but nothing serious, no spindle marks on label, etc. The top and bottom seams are both split and taped together with clear tape, has some aging/fading and other wear, see photos.
