Funny Papa Smith 1930-1931 The Original Howling Wolf. Yazoo Records(L-1031).
Texas blues singer and guitarist, born 1896, died June 30, 1940.Smith had a short recording career for Vocalion in 1930-1931. Among the songs recorded was his trademark song, "Howlin Wolf Blues" in four parts.
