GARY SCHNEIDER strange private s.f. lounge monster SS! Shipping Info | S/H info: Description this's gotta be the single greatest outre lounge release from the s.f. bay area. schneider worked the polk district lounge circuit during the 70s performing pop standards in his own inimitable, otherworldly style. his "green tambourine" with sonovox electronic vocals is legendary with local strange music collectors but other cuts ("the breeze and i", "civilization") will also transport you to another dimension. i can't imagine seeing this material performed live. still-sealed copy of "just for fun - just for friends" (SHMALTZY), far & away my favorite local vanity press. one for the outsider, real people and fringe psych crowd. fun batch of misc weird, strange and obscure LPs today. see my other auctions.
