Description
Gate: USA 1994 LP (New Zealand, Precious Metal, 1995). This is an ultra rare clear lathe cut LP, self-released by Michael Morley (Mr. Gate) for the Dead C's first USA tour in 1995 - he told me at the time that 80 copies were made. It was recorded on Gate's first US tour in 1994, which I also saw several gigs of. This rarity has been in my carefully stored possession since then. The stamped white "big hole" jacket shows only some minor yellowing from age. It is signed by the artist, dedicated to yours truly (I helped the Dead C on this tour, the San Francisco show at the Great American Music Hall happened on the date shown in scan). I don't normally sell personalized items, but unexpected expenses necessitate a sale, so You Win. Please Bid Accordingly. Vinyl is near mint, only played a couple times, and sounds much better than most lathe cut LPs I've heard, though of course, it is not an audiophile pressing (it's a cut, not a pressing), so expect some noise, though I thought it sounded just fine. US winners to pay choice of $4 media mail or $8 priority mail; insurance is optional/extra. Overseas customers to pay $15 air shipping. Canadians pay $10 first class international mail.
