Description
For auction is GENE SHAW's "Break Through," on Argo LP 707, MONO, DG, 1962. Promo Edition.
SOUND: NM/MINT
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Outstanding, crystal-clear, powerful sound. Terrific!
VINYL: VG+/NM
The vinyl is in beautiful condition, newish-looking. Under bright light, only very faint smudges or scuffs, looking completely superficial. The cream-colored labels are deep-grooved "DJ" version. In fantastic, clean condition, with a few very faint spindle markings.
JACKET: VG+
The edges and spine are solid, with a touch of wear near corners. The corners have modest, routine wear/softening. Both front and back covers are clean and unmarked. The front has a little wrinkle across the lower left. The back has a little routine yellowing around the edges.

Totally cool performance, sounds brilliant, and you won't find a better copy of this vinyl! No reserve, bidding starts at $15.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
