Stunning original UK 1st Pressing with A//1 B//1 matrix.
 
Importantly, the sleeve is manufactured by Bruin BV, with Charisma Records stated as being at the address of 37 Soho Square, London.  The latter sleeve characteristics are important, as soon after release the sleeve manufacturer changed to Robor Ltd and Charisma moved offices to Old Compton Street.
 
Detailed Gradings: -
 
Outer Sleeve: EX+
 
The delicate outer gatefold sleeve is the correct 1st press Bruin manufactured sleeve that is only found on true 1st printed editions. This particular sleeve is often found in poor condition and suffers from fading. It attracts dirt very easily due to the rather soft and flexible nature of the sleeve, something which is a characteristic of all Bruin made sleeves throughout the years.
 
This sleeve is in really top condition.  It is extremely clean with just a very small amount of ring marking at the top centre of the back cover. The spine has faded which is very common to this particular sleeve version, and there is some slight wear along the spine edge. Despite these relatively minor points, this remains an absolutely top example of this sleeve and one of the very best I’ve ever seen. 
 
Vinyl: EX+
 
The vinyl is graded at EX+. There is just the odd feint hairline visible under bright halogen light, and a small section of wear at the edge of the disc on side B . I have play tested the album in its entirety and it does not disappoint. It plays with great clarity and dynamism.  The visual condition points noted above do not impact on playback, and the audio quality is easily as good as the visual grading. Whilst it’s not 100% quiet throughout, any background noise is minimal and very unobtrusive. This copy has clearly only been played a few times and displays little signs of use. Superb.

Labels: Near Mint ~ Clean, and with no marks. Under a bright halogen light a few light spindle lines can be seen.
 
Inner Sleeve: Near Mint : The custom inner sleeve features the characters from the album and it is in absolutely stunning condition.
 
Overall this a real gem, and it would be difficult to find another 1st press copy of this LP in such great condition.
 
Postage and Packing:
 
All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers.  My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use. Despite using high quality packing materials, I only charge the actual costs of postage.
