CONDITION

SLEEVE: (vg+)ONLY VERY SLIGHT RING MARKS FROM STORAGE AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF WEAR FROM HANDLING. SOMEONE HAS WRITTEN JUST INSIDE THE SLEEVE WHERE THE INNER SLEEVE SLIPS IN AND ON THE GIANT'S HEAD PIC INSIDE COVER.. NO SPLITS. A LITTLE EDGE SCUFFING.

SPINE: (vg+) ALL THE TEXT PERFECTLY READABLE AND ONLY THE SLIGHTEST RUBBING TO THE TOP AND BOTTOM CORNERS.

INNER: (VG+) ORIGINAL VERTIGO POLYLINED PAPER INNER SLEEVE WITH 'MADE IN ENGLAND' AND 'BRITISH PATENT NO. 800153 & 973939' PRINTED IN BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER. SLIGHT DISCOLORATION FROM AGE AND STORAGE WITH A FEW CREASES. HAND WRITTEN NAME ON TOP EDGE.

LABELS: (VG+) BOTH LABELS ARE FREE FROM ANY UNWANTED WRITING & STICKERS WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF MARKS FROM THE SPINDLE. NO WRITING NO STICKERS NO DISCOLORATION

VINYL VISUALLY: (VG++) BOTH SIDES APPEAR TO BE SCRATCH AND SCUFF FREE. THIS RECORD WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES IN ITS DAY AND WAS OFTEN PLAYED. ITS BEEN TRAVELED AROUND AND STORED WITH ME FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND AS NOW ITS BECOME A RARE COLLECTORS PIECE, I HAVE DECIDED IT NEEDS A BETTER HOME.

PLAYING GRADE: (VG) THERE ARE CLICKS AND SCRATCHES.
THIS VINYL HAS BEEN STORED UNTOUCHED FOR OVER 35 YEARS SO THERE HAS BEEN A BUILD UP OF DUST IN THE GROOVES.
A RECORD OF THIS INCREASING VALUE AND IN THIS SORT OF CONDITION SHOULD BE CAREFULLY LOOKED AFTER EVEN CLEANED BY A SPECIALIST. IF THIS WHERE DONE ,THEN IT SHOULD PLAY AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS.

GRADING

All records are graded using the Record Collector Grading System with (+) or (-) to show a slightly higher or lower grade.

M (Mint) : The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX (Excellent): The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing

VG (Very Good) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G (Good) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

F (Fair) : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
