Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's beat/punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/Rolling Stones, etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.
Here then, is one of the records from his collection:

CATALOGUE #: STCX-3385 .
DATE OF RELEASE: 1971 .
PRESSED IN: AUSTRALIA .
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Yes, it is...with picture labels, textured 'linen-effect' box, plus large 64-page photo/info book...
CONDITION:
BOX (LID): ( VG+ )...all 4 corners are torn on each little corner seam there, plus it has scuffing and a small split at the bottom, with a surname written neatly in blue pen at top right, and odd bits of scuffing on the other edges...
BOX (BASE): ( VG++ )...has a split at the bottom and a small amount of scuffing on the outside of the corners, plus a couple of minor marks (see pix)...inside of base is mint...
RECORDS: ( VG++ )...one side is VG+, one side is VG++, three sides are EX-, and one side is M-...no side has any worse blemish that some light marks/scuffs only...and the whole thing plays beautifully, with only a few odd crackles...
BOOK: ( EX )...all the inner pages are at least M- (most are MINT), and the cover has that same surname written in blue pen again (very neatly) at top right...
LABELS: (each record has one label where that same surname is again written very neatly in blue pen...otherwise all 6 labels would be perfectly MINT )...

PACKING:
Don’t worry - I'll pack anything you buy VERY CAREFULLY to make sure it arrives in EXACTLY the condition it left here. More specifically, in the way I'd like to receive parcels myself. VINYL: All LPs come packaged carefully in solid corrugated card packaging designed specifically for LPs, plus the LPs are housed in clear plastic sleeves. The record itself is ALWAYS removed from cover ( except for SEALED LPs) for shipping to prevent seam splitting, and placed alongside the LP cover (inside its own inner sleeve, OR in an extra sleeve to keep in secure) within the clear plastic sleeve, which is then sealed. Likewise 7" singles/EPs are packaged the same way too - well protected. POSTERS: All posters are rolled within outer protective paper that extends well beyond the actual length of the poster to avoid any crushing of the ends, and then packed in a very sturdy solid-card mailing tube - packed carefully to allow no room for any movement of the item inside.
WE MAIL OUT AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK.
