Description

This guy made a later weak pop orchestrated LP, but this homemade demo LP from 1970 on UK private press is cool! Very sixties styled UK pop folkrock songs that at times remind of Kinks/Roy Wood pop melodic action with unusual lyrics, catchy structures, guitars/piano/organ led combo backup with some dreamy fake strings. Whole sound is demo level obscure, but ambitious. "A Leaf In The Wind", "Stanley Chapter", "Baker Man", "Dr. Johnson" etc...12 songs total in homemade pasted on cover slicks with thick old press & blank labels. Folk meets '60s anglo pop in the basement. No doubt only a tiny number of these pressed to exhibit his material...no one I've asked has seen it before except the guy I got it from...Ex/M- clean with lyric insert.
