Description

Best of the Hideouts on Hideout 1002.  Legendary Michigan garage comp featuring the Underdogs, Pleasure Seekers, Henchmen, Yorkshires (two songs never on 45), and more.  Original copy with the XCTV stamp in the dead wax.  Cover is very nice with a few minor spots and stains but no writing, no seam splits and minimal wear.  Record was well loved by original owner, with lots of spindle marks, light scratches, and a couple of dull spots on the vinyl.  Call it VG- visually.  But whoever owned it must have had a very nice stereo in the '60s, because the record still has virtually all its gloss with no apparent groove wear.  And, though surface noise is evident between the songs and in a few quiet bits, when the songs are in full swing any clicks are well in the background, with the music way up front and clear.  The LP plays with more vibrant fidelity than is available on the styrene Hideout singles.

Grading

MINT-  Perfect or virtually perfect.

VG+  A few light marks, full shine, great looking record

VG  Still fairly shiny but clearly a used record, light scratches, will play well but with some surface noise

VG-  Played or used more heavily, lots of scratches, more pronounced surface noise, but still plays through okay

G  Rough record
