BEST OF THE HIDEOUTS - "various artists" LP, on the Hideout label, HLP-1002, from 1966. This is a ORIGINAL US PRESSING, of a ultra rare Detroit garage punk fuzz album. Contains tracks by the Underdogs, Pleasure Seekers (Suzi Quatro), The 4 of Us, Yorkshires, Henchmen, Doug Brown. Originals are ultra rare, beware of the 1990's reissue. lts almost a exact reissue, but if you put this copy next to it, you can see the difference. Cover on the original is clear, and doesn't have the wear from the photo of the copy of the cover used for the reissue. Labels are slightly darker on the original. Also has the matrix numbers, XCTV1212451A, machine stamped in the dead wax. The cover is in nice VG++ condition, with a small light stain on bottom part of back cover. Labels are clean. The record looks VG to VG+, with mostly light hairline surface type marks, and plays with some light crackles, and just a few light ticks, otherwise the rest plays really great. No skips or sticks.
